HZT Location Uferstudios

The HZT is primarily located at the Uferstudios in Berlin-Mitte (Gesundbrunnen), which was previously the central Berlin Verkehrsbetriebe (Berlin Municipal Transport Services) garage. When reconstruction has been completed in the fall of 2010, a total of 14 studios will have been created in the historic brick building; eight of them for the HZT Berlin. In addition, a stage for showings and events, a media library, seminar/ work rooms as well as two video editing studios can also be used. The Uferstudios unite education, artistic production and information at one location and thus facilitate an ideal exchange between artists, students and the public. Future users will be the Tanzfabrik Berlin, the Tanzbüro Berlin information office as well as Berliner and international artists, companies and producers. http://www.uferstudios.com

In addition to the Uferstudios, the HZT also has three further studios at the School of Dramatic Arts “Ernst Busch“.
