Jo Ann Endicott studied classical ballet in Melbourne. From 1973 – 1987 she was a member of the ensemble of the Tanztheater Wuppertal and remains to this day closely linked to their work. From 1994 she was guest dancer and the assistant of Pina Bausch, responsible for the rehearsal of several of her works.
For She She Pop, the stage is a space, in which decisions are made, various forms of dialog and social systems are tested, and grand gestures and social rituals are learned or discarded. Their shows are developed as a collective.
