Office student assistant | Sound Studies and Sonic Arts (M.A.)
Lottie Sebes is a Berlin-based artist and researcher with a practice spanning installation, video and sounding performances. Informed by the inquiries of media archeology, her work aims to illuminate cross-temporal interconnections between the social, technical and gendered aspects of media history and culture. After completing a Bachelor of Visual Arts with First Class Honours in Australia, she was awarded the Sydney University Medal in 2016, and in 2018 became a recipient of the Eleanor Sophia Wood Postgraduate Research Travelling Scholarship. She is now undertaking an MA in Sound Studies and Sonic Arts while working as a student assistant in the department.
