Dr. Marcus Quent

short vita

Marcus studied Philosophy (MA, 2014) and Theater Studies (MA, 2015) at the Leipzig University, Aberystwyth University Wales and the Berlin University of the Arts. His PhD project on artistic constructions of time in Theodor W. Adorno, Gilles Deleuze and Alain Badiou (PhD 12/2020) was supported by a Hans Böckler Foundation scholarship. In 2018 he completed a research stay at the New School for Social Research, New York City. In 2020, he was a Fellow in residence at the Classical Foundation Weimar (Kolleg Friedrich Nietzsche). Since August 2020 he is a Research Associate (Post-Doc) at the Department of Art History and Aesthetics at Berlin University of the Arts. In 2022, he was a Fellow at the Leipzig Lab of the Leipzig University and a Visiting Scholar at the School of Visual Arts, New York City.
