The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation grants research fellowships to academics with above-average qualifications from abroad to promote long-term research stays at research institutions in Germany. The research fellowships are intended for carrying out a research project of their own choice in cooperation with the academic hosts, who provide the necessary research facilities at the host institute and are available as contact persons for the implementation of the research project. The scholarship holder Prof. Dr. Alexandre Sperandéo Fenerich from Rio de Janeiro will be supervised academically by Prof. Sabine Sanio for six months and will be a guest of the Department of Sound Studies and Sonic Arts at the Berlin Career College of the University of the Arts Berlin from 1 March, 2020.
