Dear friends of SoundS,
To quote John Cage, we'd like to say: Happy New Ears – but the times are not really that encouraging in the face of contemporary political and environmental catastrophes that challenge our everyday. And art is no exception. So what can we do? We deal with it. Here is the open call to this year's DYSTOPIA sound art biennial directed at our alumni. For current students a project seminar will be offered in the summer semester.
And despite everything, I would like to wish New Ears. Because we will need them, especially in times of uncertainty, ambivalence and challenges.
