we would like to thank everybody who came to the Sound Studies and Sonic Arts OPEN DAY. It was a pleasure to meet you and share our excitement about our new program and we hope you will join our very first Sound Studies and Sonic Arts class of 2020, starting in October 2017.
We would like to remind you that the application period for the Sound Studies and Sonic Arts Master’s program starts today! We are looking forward to your applications.

Please be aware, your printed application form, documents and work samples (dvd, cd, usb, music scores etc.) must arrive by post at our office by February 14th (arrival date).

Sound Studies and Sonic Arts is a part-time Master’s program starting in October 2017, for sound artists, designers, and scholars at the Berlin Career College for continuing education of the Berlin University of the Arts.
Our aim is to deepen theoretical and practical skills in the fields of audio-related theory and practice, i.e. cultural studies, musicology, aesthetics, sound art, performance, architecture, design, and media production. The Sound Studies and Sonic Arts program is held in English and will span over three years with alternating phases of residency and off-campus projects, concluding with a Master of Arts degree.

Sound Studies thesis exhibition | February 2-7, 2017
In case you are in Berlin at the moment:
The class of 2017 of the Master's Program Sound Studies at the UdK, Berlin Career College, cordially invites you to their thesis exhibition, where they will be exhibiting and performing their Master projects. The Installations, performances and public lectures interdisciplinarily ponder upon the phenomena of sound.
The opening will take place on Thursday, February 2, 2017.
