Dear friends of SoundS,
As the winter break is about to begin, I would like to thank you all for the artistic and academic experiences we shared in 2020, despite all odds and challenges. Strangely enough, it feels like the pandemic and the lack of in-person exchange brought us closer together as a community of students, instructors, and administrators. Thank you, SoundS people, for your hard work, your willingness to deal with the challenges we have been facing, your patience and understanding, and above all your nice words and good deeds in difficult times.
We are looking forward to a year of change and improvement. I can’t wait to return to producing public events, attending concerts, re-connecting with our community, and experiencing sound art pieces beyond the confined space between headphone speakers.
Please hang in there, stay safe and attentive. See you in 2021!
