Dear friends of SoundS,

What are possible presentation forms of artistic research in sound art? Is artistic research an alternative to the concept of the artwork? What are the intellectual/ academic demands of the 'research' aspect of 'artistic research'? Does the idea of AR emerge from artistic materiality/ immateriality? Or scientific background? Or both?

Join us this winter for our second lecture series exploring Sound in Artistic Research 2023/24. Different perspectives, different guests every week. Directed at SoundS students to reflect on their own positioning on the topic, these talks are also open to the general public.

Our series kicks off next week, don’t miss it!
