The stage design class of UdK Berlin warmly invites you to the semester exhibition MATERIALIZE ME. At Ballhaus Ost, located at Pappelallee 15 in Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg, current works from the field of stage design will be presented. The semester’s final projects engage with socio-political and aesthetic urgencies of our present time. Through multimedia-based spatial installations, they open up possibilities to explore contemporary questions using artistic means.

The degree program pursues an expanded understanding of stage design that connects artistic practice, theoretical reflection, and transdisciplinary spatial concepts. Spread across three floors, a diverse exhibition unfolds with installations, artistic works, and performative approaches.
