The Weizenbaum Institute for the Networked Society is organizing a symposium on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 in Berlin on the subject of “The Future of Work and Innovation in a Networked Society” and invites you to submit abstracts for contributions.
The participants of the Studium Generale seminar ”Vilém Flusser and the Arts" at the Vilém Flusser Archive, Universität der Künste Berlin have explored the Czech philosopher's biography, work, and various relations to the arts. They have discussed Flusser's thoughts on technical images, techno-imagination, dialogue as a creative act, art criticism and curation. Moreover, Flusser’s collaborations with different artists, such as Louis Bec, Samson Flexor, Joan Fontcuberta, Fred Forest, Mira Schendel, and Ed Sommer have been part of the topics of the course as well.
The Berlin University of the Arts invites: Special Screening of "Human flow", a film directed by Ai Weiwei, Einstein Guest professor at the UdK Berlin.

The lecture series focuses on (contemporary) artistic and epistemic practices (of resistence). Since we presume that these practices notably put forth this ongoing process.
