QUERKLANG + DAZWISCHEN – Symposien

Artistic experimentation with music in harmony with theater, visual arts, and dance as a perspective for teacher training, for schools, and for the arts

The conclusion of the teacher training project QuerKlang+ at the Berlin University of the Arts and the 22nd anniversary of QuerKlang—two occasions to pause, reflect on the past, and imagine the future.

The symposium will focus on the possibilities of experimental artistic creation in schools and other educational contexts. Through reflective impulses and discussions as well as practical workshops, we want to explore the in-between character of the QuerKlang project together.

  • QuerKlang positions itself as an artistic project – across all art forms – between the arts.
  • QuerKlang uses aesthetic means to question the boundaries between art and nature.
  • QuerKlang works with people of different ages, across generations.
  • QuerKlang seeks new aesthetic paths between different cultures.
  • QuerKlang connects institutions such as schools, universities, and cultural institutions.

In line with these diverse aspirations, QuerKlang sees itself not only as an artistic project, but also as a socio-political project that aims to encourage people to explore and develop new artistic paths beyond the boundaries of the familiar.
