The Symphony Orchestra of the UdK Berlin under Sir Simon Rattle – Workshop
The Symphony Orchestra of the Berlin University of the Arts rehearses under the former chief conductor of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, Sir Simon Rattle.
Attention! The workshop has been postponed to 15 February 2026.
From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the concert hall will be open to interested members of the public who will be able to experience the world-famous conductor's rehearsals for Johannes Brahms' Symphony No. 4 in E minor op. 98.
Two weeks before the workshop, the winter concert will feature works by W. A. Mozart and Paul Hindemith as well as Johannes Brahms' Symphony No. 4. The UdK Berlin Symphony Orchestra will be playing under Harry Curtis. You can find more information about the concert here.
House opening: 9.45 am; Hall opening: 10.15 am
If you have already booked a ticket: Please arrive on time on the day of the event. From 15 minutes before the start, your guaranteed seat will be forfeited and free seats will be given to waiting audience members without tickets.
If you were unable to get a ticket: From 9.45 a.m., a queue will be opened in front of the concert hall for people without a ticket; they will be given access to the concert hall from 10.45 a.m., provided there are still seats available.
