Since July 2025, Lukas Groß is located at the Zentralinstitut für Weiterbildung und Transfer (ZIWT) at the Berlin University of the Arts, supporting the development of the Digital Learning Center in the field of media didactics.

He brings several years of experience at the intersection of digitalization and internationalization in higher education. Since April 2023, Lukas is coordinating the Berlin-based joint project Collaborative Online International Learning (BeCOIL) at UdK Berlin's International Office, where he’s responsible for virtual exchange formats and supports their integration into teaching and learning practices.

His work focuses on designing, testing, and advancing innovative learning environments. He provides media didactic consulting, develops professional training programs for faculty and students, and actively connects stakeholders within UdK Berlin as well as across institutions in Berlin and internationally. This allows him to identify opportunities for digitalization and internationalization in the context of arts education – and to facilitate their transfer across institutional, disciplinary, and national boundaries.

Lukas Groß also brings extensive experience in digital communication solutions and process optimization. He studied Cultural Anthropology and Southeast Asian Studies (B.A.) at Goethe University Frankfurt, where supported the departmental development of digital teaching infrastructures and international media acquisition.
