Stephanie Schwarz is a theater scientist and musicologist and worked as a dramaturge and production manager for music theater projects in Berlin and Frankfurt am Main before her time at the UdK Berlin.

She was a research assistant at the Institute for Theater Studies at Freie Universität Berlin before joining the Institute for New Music at Berlin University of the Arts and the Hanns Eisler School of Music Berlin as a research assistant in 2010.

In 2012, she took over as project coordinator of the Berlin Summer University of the Arts and the International Summer School of Creative Entrepreneurship at the Central Institute for Continuing Education and Transfer (ZIWT).

Since 2016, she has also headed the ZIWT's course department and is responsible for designing the certificate course and continuing education programme.
