Representative for Employees with Disabilities

The Representative for Employees with Disabilities advices and supports on all questions around disability or accessibility. The independent representative and her two deputies are elected from the so-called severely disabled ("schwerbehinderte") and equivalent ("gleichgestellte") employees of UdK Berlin according to the Book IX of the German Social Code (SGB IX). Together they build the Council of Employees with Disabilities ("Schwerbehindertenvertretung/ SBV").

You don't have a formal recognition of your degree of disability ("GDB") or equivalent ("Gleichstellung") according to german law (up to now), but you have a permanent handicap or restrictions e.g. because of a chronic disease? Or you want to aplly for a position at UdK Berlin and have questions? Also in this cases I will be pleased to advice.
