In the installation "Spuren der Gewalt, 2025" (Traces of Violence 2025) there are plastic impressions of grenade and bullet impacts on display. These marks originate from the final days of the war in 1945 in Berlin. These relics, which are usually scattered across facades, bridges, and streets, are brought together in this installation, where they are examined both as an archive and as testimony. By concentrating these traces, the work makes what is often invisible visible, drawing attention to it in a way that invites reflection on the omnipresence of violence.

Sally Frey works at the intersection of art, memory culture, and science.
