Media workshop

Die Medienwerkstatt am Institut für Kunst im Kontext möchte euch nach ihren Möglichkeiten unterstützen. Dies geschieht unter anderem durch Projektberatung und den Verleih von A/V-Medientechnik (Foto/Videokamera-, Licht- und Tonequipment).

Project consulting

Project consultations for media-based projects usually take place during office hours.

Rental of A/V media equipment

During the lecture period in the winter semester 25/26
Tuesdays and Wednesdays 2 pm - 6:15 pm.

Rental, return and reservations take place on site.

Computerpool

Room 304 at Einsteinufer 43.

You will receive a key to the room at the reception desk after leaving your student ID.

The following programs are installed on the computers: Adobe Creative Cloud, DaVinci Resolve, Blender, Metashape, LibreOffice, Pages/Number/Keynote, OBS, Zoom, WebEx, Cinema 4D (you will need your own license for this).

Other offers

Scanning
A scanner for supervisory board documents (up to A3) and another scanner for photo and slide/negative scans (up to medium format) are available for free use in the computer lab. Film holders for slides/negatives can be borrowed from the media workshop. High-quality negative/slide scans (up to A4, dry or wet) can be digitized in the media workshop upon request.

Digitizing VHS materials
You can also digitize VHS materials in the computer lab.

Printing
An A4 laser printer (black and white) is also available for use; you must bring your own printer paper. Annual usage is limited to 3,000 pages.
