| Q: | What is my username? |
| A: | Your username is the first part of your O.A.Se email address (nutzername@udk-berlin.de). In most cases, this is: firstname.lastname. If you are unsure whether the name is correct, please contact theO.A.Se team. You can check for yourself whether your details are correct by logging in to the O.A.Se portal. |
| Q: | What is my password? / How do I get a new password? |
| A: | Your password for ASIMUT is the same as for your O.A.Se account. Please contact the O.A.Se team to obtain a new password. Please note: The password will be sent to you by post. Please ensure that your correct address is on file. Staff members should update their address via the HR department; students should contact the IPA for this. |
| Q: | I can log in to ASIMUT, but I can’t book any rooms. |
| A: | Your account has not yet been set up. Please complete the online formfor students. The ASIMUT team at the Faculty of Music will review your details and then create an account for you. You will be notified by email to your O.A.Se address. Please ensure that you set up an email forwarding service to your personal email address if necessary. You can find instructions on how to do this here. |
| Q: | Which rooms can I book? |
| A: | Once you have logged in to ASIMUT, you will see the field ‘Please book here first’ in the left-hand column. This section will primarily show you all the rooms that have been made available to you. You may also have access to additional rooms; these can be found in the relevant room groups. |
| Q: | When can I book a room? |
| A: | Teachers can book rooms at any time. Students in the Faculty of Music can make personal bookings up to four days in advance. |
| Q: | What happens if I'm late and don't collect the key to my room on time? |
| A: | Bookings made by students expire 15 minutes after the start time. Please ensure you arrive on time, otherwise you will need to rebook. This is only possible if the desired time slot is still available. Bookings made by staff do not expire. We ask that you adjust your booked time accordingly to ensure the room is not left empty and unused. |
| Q: | Can the reception make bookings for me? |
| A: | No, due to the way the system works, the reception cannot make new bookings. |
