Highlighting, sketching, informing, improvising, connecting – blue, tape-like stripes, was the design theme at the center of the open days 2017 at UdK Berlin. While they initially covered – but also marked and accentuated – the date of the open days, they gradually dissolved from posters and other things, as the date of the tour approached. In different print and online media they change in size, composition and form. Finally they morphed into an analog design element. With blue tape we tape, gesture and interact. This excerpt of variations and options for actions is representative for the lived diversity of artistic creation at UdK Berlin, the results of which were visible for visitors at the Rundgang.
