FIT@UdK
FIT@UdK – Study Successfully And Start Your Career in Germany
FIT@UdK is an initiative for the academic success and successful career start of international students and UdK alumni 2024-2028. With this program, the UdK Berlin participates in the campus initiative of the DAAD - German Academic Exchange Service “FIT” - Promotion of international talents for integration into studies and the job market.
FIT@UdK focuses on the integration and support of international students at the UdK Berlin as well as career services specifically for international students and alumni. FIT@UdK integrates new offers into existing initiatives aimed at international students in artistic, creative or artistic-pedagogical degree programs at the UdK Berlin or at alumni. The FIT@UdK initiative comprises
Offers for student integration:
- Welcome Week in the week before each semester for all international students
- new mentoring program for teacher training students (especially B.A. teacher training)
- IKM - intercultural mentoring for artistic and creative subjects (in the Studium Generale)
- MyMate - peer program at the beginning of the Master's degree course (introductory phase M.A.)
Offers for study support:
- new specialist language workshops, coaching and subject-related communication training will be offered in future in teacher mentoring, IKM and MyMATE
Offers to prepare students for the job market:
- Workshops, advice, individual and group coaching for career entry at the CTC
- Networking events with companies and partners at the CTC
FIT@UdK is a joint initiative of the Department of Student and Committee Affairs/Student Advisory Service, the International Office/International Student Services, the Studium Generale, the zfkl - Center for Artistic Teacher Training, and the Career Service & Transfer Center of the UdK Berlin.
