From May 4-6, 2022, the works of the nominees for the 2022 UdK Berlin: The President’s Fine Arts Award will be on display in the Quergalerie of Hardenbergstrasse 33.

The President’s Fine Arts Award is annually tendered in the College of Fine Arts at the Berlin University of the Arts. Since 1997, a jury of renowned persons from Berlin's art and culture scene and under the chairmanship of the university president Prof. Martin Rennert, is rewarding three master class students of one year. The prize includes a monographic catalogue and an exhibition at an established art institution in Berlin.

Due to the corona pandemic, the exhibition of all nominees for the President’s Fine Arts Award of the UdK Berlin could not take place two times in a row, so we are especially looking forward to the exhibition in 2022.

The announcement of the three winners and the award ceremony will take place on May 5, 2022 at 6 pm in the Quergalerie.

The nominees are:
