Chamber concerts with the Paul-Hindemith-Gesellschaft in Berlin e.V. – crescendo

Matthias Heyde

Scholars of the Paul-Hindemith-Gesellschaft in Berlin e.V. perform chamber music pieces.

The participation of the Paul-Hindemith-Gesellschaft in Berlin e. V. in the Crescendo concerts has become a tradition. For over fifty years, the Paul-Hindemith-Gesellschaft in Berlin e. V. has supported outstanding musical talent studying at the UdK Berlin. Founded by personalities such as Hans Scharoun and Herbert von Karajan, it supports an average of 25-30 students each year, both financially and in terms of ideas, under the chairmanship of Prof. Roswitha Staege. An essential part of the support are regular concerts with scholarship holders of the association and their chamber music partners. At this year's festival, too, some of them will perform chamber music works from various epochs.
