UNIDAD.SAGLAN STUDIO, UNIVERSITÄT DER KÜNSTE, JAZZ INSTITUT BERLIN | MARKO KOŠNIK

At the unidad.salgan festival, four young composers and their ensembles will get the opportunity to present their projects to the audience at the Berlin Science Week. They will do so in form of evening concerts while during the day participating in Ensemble Animation led by the polymedia artist Marko Košnik with exercises in relational dynamics. Ensemble Animation serves as a platform that aims to develop the participants' cognitive, compositional, and performative apparatus, helping them to further realize their artistic visions.

Marko Košnik, 1961 - polymedia artist, started producing creative environments, open labs and media platforms, to enable collaboration of authors from various fields in interdisciplinary art projects. In 1986 he founded Egon March Institute, a creative unit for research in arts, realizing (as till 2023) 72 productions trough 16 countries in Europe and around the world, interweaving creative engagement of over 30 international artists and experts. He is actively performing/improvising himself as a musician and videoinstrumentalist.

Ensemble Animation with Marko Košnik is part of the Berlin Science Week.
