Studied Dramaturgy (diploma) at the University of Music and Theatre „Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy“ Leipzig (Hochschule für Musik und Theater) and subsequently Dance Studies at the Freie Universität Berlin. 2007 she was a founding member of the association Werkstattmacher (‚studio makers’) at the performing arts venue LOFFT Leipzig for supporting young, experimentally and interdisciplinarily working theatre makers and received the first „Marie Zimmermann“ scholarship for talented dramaturgs in 2008. She wrote her diploma thesis on ‚margin forms’ of theatre that irritated the separation of fiction and reality („Theatre Without Stage“ 2009), later went to the city theatre of Osnabrück as a dramaturg for the season 2010/11, where she also coedited the research volume DIE NEUE FREIHEIT. Perspektiven des bulgarischen Theaters (‚The New Freedom. Perspectives on Bulgarian Theatre’). Since 2009 she furthermore writes for specialist journals like Theater der Zeit, dramaturgie, Die Deutsche Bühne, Tanz or www.nachtkritik.de and worked as guest dramaturge i. a. for the Open Stage at Bauhaus Dessau, Deutsches Nationaltheater Weimar, Thuringian Ballet Company or Company MOUVOIR.

Since October 2014 she is research associate at the Chair for Theory and History of Theatre at the Berlin University of the Arts and writes her PhD on ‚Institutional Critique in German City Theatres since the late 1960ies’ (in FRG and GDR). She teaches in the courses of Acting and in the Studium Generale of the Berlin UdK (Theories of Acting, Theatre History, extended performance analysis, interdisciplinary artisitc projects...), and was guest lecturer at University for Music „Hanns Eisler“ Berlin, at FU Berlin, at University of Hildesheim and Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts Berlin. Since 2016/17 she also supports the UdK’s training programme Artist Trainingfor Professionals as lecturer and supervisor for the Performing Arts module for theatre makers in exile.
