Leon Vatter

Leon Vatter, born in 1988 in Gelsenkirchen, studied philosophy, political science, and Italian at Freie Universität Berlin and Universitá di Urbino. Since 2014 he has been working first as a tutor and since 2019 as a research assistant in the Studium Generale team at the Berlin University of the Arts. There he is concerned with the didactic development and realization of interdisciplinary teaching formats and regularly organizes his own seminars in the fields of critical studies and interdisciplinary artistic practice and theory. He works in the fields of political philosophy, feminist epistemology, and futures sciences. Since 2021, he has been working on his PhD thesis at Karin Harrasser's department at the University of Art and Design Linz with a thesis on "Who shapes whose futures? A scientific critique of futures sciences".

In addition to his academic work, he is active in the DAAD-funded project "Beyond UdK", founded in 2020.
