Pascal Staudt

Pascal Staudt is a Berlin-based creative technologist, instrument developer, and sound artist. His work resides at the intersection of art, research, and interactive technology. Beside his contributions to various new Digital Musical Instruments, he developed the stand-alone PushPull, which he performed in numerous concerts as a part of the 'Electronic Orchestra Charlottenburg'. Furthermore, Pascal is the technical director of the 'sentire' project, creative tech lead at Kling Klang Klong, co-founder of the 'Unfold community', and a former research associate at the Department of Musicology and Media Studies at Humboldt University Berlin. Pascal combines art and science to create novel musical instruments, drawing on his knowledge in sonic interaction design, physical computing, and audio engineering. He seeks cooperative and community-centered methods for developing both technology and art. Pascal’s works have been shown at international festivals such as CTM, Transmediale, Tanz im August, ATM (South Korea), Waking Life (Portugal), Mala Inventura (Czech Republic), Paesaggi Sonori (Italy), and many more.
