Sibel Beyer

short vita

Sibel Beyer is a graphic designer who develops visual concepts for a wide range of media and formats, including publications, corporate identities, and websites. Her projects are situated within the arts and culture sector and often involve close collaborations with artists and curators who explore questions of (post)migrant identity, collectivity and society, as well as contemporary feminist perspectives and historical narratives. Sibel Beyer studied graphic design at the Academy of Visual Arts Leipzig and the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam. A conceptual approach always forms the foundation of her designs, while an intuitive understanding of the content is an essential part of her process.

Her work has received numerous nominations and awards, including the German Design Award from the German Design Council, the Art Directors Club Germany, and the Stiftung Buchkunst (Book Art Foundation).
