Summer Intensive
As part of the 2026 colloquium series Research Ecologies: encounters, disruptions, common grounds, hosted by the Berlin Centre for Advanced Studies in Arts and Sciences (BAS), we warmly invite you to our Summer Intensive on 2 July.
Join us for a day of listening, moving, discussing, and experimenting together. From affective infrastructures and ecological listening to community-based knowledge networks and embodied practices, this year's participants explore how knowledge is shaped through relations between bodies, technologies, environments, and communities.
Over the past two years, Research Ecologies has evolved into an ongoing conversation among artistic and scientific researchers. With each gathering, new connections emerge while earlier encounters continue to resonate and unfold. We invite you to join this growing ecology by bringing your own questions, unfinished thoughts, uncertainties, and curiosity. Alongside the programme, there will be space for exchange, reflection, and unexpected encounters. This year the Summer Intensive takes place at bUm – Raum für solidarisches Miteinander, a space for community, participation, and collective practice in Kreuzberg.
