Totem & Taboo.
Judith Seng is showing a piece at the exhibition ’Totem & Taboo. Relationships and Complexity between Art and Design’ at freiraum 21 Museumsquartier Wien. Together with Alex Valder the designer is cooperating with the Vienna glass manufacturer Lobmeyr. She discusses the taboo of sorted out, sub-standard goods in the production of high quality glasses. From this glass waste they created object collages and are now presenting a new series of a quality to be reassessed.
