Solo Exhibition “welcome to the house of bats”
Our alumna Echo Ho is honoured with the solo exhibition “welcome to the house of bats” in Leverkusen.
In her artistic work, which includes a wide medial spectrum such as room installation, objects, interventions, live performances and audiovisual components, she focuses on comparing cultures and media-critical perspectives with different concepts and histories of art and its relation to space, time and body. She often intertwines historical narratives with the present and focuses on experiencable poetics. The objects do not poise in form and material, but they are transformed in a kind of time travel between fictional past and possible future to uncover them.
