Exhibition “Printing for Borderliners”
The Neuer Ravensburger Kunstverein e.V. presents the exhibition “Printing for Borderliners” by our fellow Lisa Glauer.
Since 2011 Lisa Glauer works with breast milk as drawing material. White on white, the milk is applied on large-format sheets of paper. Once dried, the drawing is completely invisible. Through iron on the sugar in the milk burns and the drawing becomes visible.
Deliberately Glauer uses human milk as material and the act of ironing in the production of the work. The subjects are technical drawings or historical academic templates. In her drawings these opposites, female and male connotated aspects, meet.
