Our alumna Alex Martinis Roe has just completed a new film called “Alliances” exploring the legacy of the women's movement which began 50 years ago in Paris after May 1968. The film explores the specific genealogies that are relevant to contributors to the project - who each occupy different feminist positions in the city today. The film is included in the exhibition Fabriques de contre-savoirs at Frac Lorraine in Metz. It is also included in a solo exhibition called Alliances at GfZK - Museum of Contemporary Art Leipzig. At the opening on 16 November, Alex Martinis Roe was awarded the "Future of Europe Prize".
