Our employee Lena Loose presents her final project “Bucht” (bay) in the framework of the exhibition Dreizehn in the Reinbeckhallen.
With this year’s exhibition Dreizehn the current graduation class of Ostkreuzschule für Fotografie joins the tradition of the renowned Berlin educational institution for photography. The 22 graduates lectured by Sibylle Fendt, Göran Gnaudschun and Ludwig Rauch will present their photographic works and moreover disclose a perspective on the tendencies of contemporary photography. The spectrum varies from social documentary to conceptual photography which all deal with a wide range of current social subjects: The students e.g. deal with a Norwegian subculture on wheels, LGBTQ + refugees in Berlin and nudist camps in Spain or they address questions of identity and the search for meaning in subjective series. The exhibition is complemented by a supporting program with panel discussion of Ostkreuz-Verein, concerts, guided tours by photo historian Dr. Enno Kaufhold and photo editor and Visual Historian Miriam Zlobinski as well as a film screening.
