Demonstration KUNST RAUM STADT
Two of our fellows contribute to the demonstrationKUNST RAUM STADT of the Berlin University of the Arts on 16 and 17 July. Didem Pekün shows a banner and Salwa Aleryani presents an installation with a light box at Konzertsaal Hardenbergstraße.
Zwei unserer Stipendiatinnen sind Teil der Demonstration KUNST RAUM STADTder UdK Berlin, die am 16. und 17. Juli stattfindet. Didem Pekün zeigt ein Banner am Konzertsaal in der Hardenbergstraße, wo auch Salwa Aleryani eine Installation mit Light Box präsentiert.
The demonstration is aimed at enabling artistic encounters for all - that is what the artists want to demonstrate for. In the city. With the citizens.
A circle with a diameter of 2020m around the UdK Berlin location at Hardenbergstraße 33 marks an urban territory in which a multitude of artistic encounters between members of the Berlin University of the Arts and the citizens of Berlin are to take place over a period of 24 hours. It is a dialogue between artists and spectators, between young authors and civil society, which we challenge in the demonstration KUNST RAUM STADT.
