for newly admitted students
To ensure a successful start to your studies, we invite all new degree-seeking students from abroad to a pre-arrival info session. You will receive information on enrolment and visas and have the opportunity to ask questions.
The next Pre-Arrival info session will take place on Tuesday, 16 September 2025 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM (Berlin time) as a Q&A event.

WELCOME MEETING

International students who are completing their entire degree programme here will receive a general introduction to studying at UdK Berlin. There will also be an opportunity to meet important contact persons at UdK Berlin in person. Followed by a Q&A session and an informal exchange over snacks and drinks.
The campus rallye will start immediately afterwards.
All newly admitted students will receive a personal invitation.

We chop (German "schnippeln") vegetables together, cook and then eat together. A DJ will be selecting rhythms for chopping and dancing.
You don't need any cooking experience. Everyone is welcome – international first-year students and exchange students.

The target group are UdK students who are participating or would like to participate in an academic exchange programme as well as students from our partner universities who are preparing for the exchange semester at UdK Berlin.
