WELCOME MEETING

International degree-seeking students will receive a general introduction to studying at UdK Berlin. You will also have the opportunity to meet key contact persons from UdK Berlin and the StudierendenWERK Berlin in person. The programme concludes with a Q&A session and an informal get-together with snacks and refreshments.

The Campus Rallye starts immediately after the Welcome Meeting.

All newly admitted degree-seeking students will receive a personal invitation.

HOW TO STUDY AT UDK BERLIN – Orientation Workshop for International Students (English/German)

The semester is about to begin and you still have lots of questions about studying at UdK Berlin? In this interactive workshop, you will receive an intercultural introduction to studying at a German university. Experienced students from different faculties will share practical insights into study programmes, course registration, timetables and academic organisation—and answer your questions.

EXCURSION TO THE BAUHAUS DESSAU

We will travel together by train from Berlin Central Station to Dessau for a group excursion to visit the Bauhaus Building, the Masters' Houses and the Bauhaus Museum.

The Bauhaus Dessau, which existed from 1925 to 1932, was the most influential location of the world's most renowned school of art, design and architecture, founded by Walter Gropius. It was here that the foundations of modern architecture and design were laid. The iconic Bauhaus Building, designed by Gropius, together with other Bauhaus sites in Dessau, is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site and stands as a testament to this revolutionary era.

A Deutschlandsemesterticket is required for the train journey.
