Ibolyka-Gyarfas (Stiftung der UdK Berlin)
The donor is the violinist Ibolyka Gyarfas, born in Budapest in 1901. When she died in Canada in 1986, she bequeathed an amount of $48,000 to the UdK Berlin. The interest earned is used to provide scholarships or prizes in the annual Ibolyka Gyarfas Competition for talented violin students in need.
