About
The starting point of the project is the “flaneuse”, a figure who shifts and reexamines the classical concept of flânerie, a conscious movement through urban space. For the question of whose body moves naturally through urban space is at the same time a question of power, visibility, and exclusion. Friedrichstraße serves as a concrete lens through which to examine this: between Mehringplatz and the Friedrichstadtpalast, administrative order, economic logic, and lived physical realities, which do not appear on any map, converge. The project brings together Architecture and GWK (UdK) as well as Spatial Strategies (KH Weißensee) - in collaboration with an external choreographer. The city is not understood here as an object to be analyzed, but as a physically produced reality that must be collectively experienced, questioned, and retold. Somatic practices, textual work, design, and theory mutually influence one another. Interdisciplinarity here is not an organizational principle, but a practice lived collectively.

Core hours: Tuesdays, 9 a.m.–1 p.m., all day if necessary; additional dates and locations tba.

Fulfilment criteria for ungraded accreditation
Since this course brings together different degree programs (and thus also different teaching formats, ECTS, etc.), the exact requirements will be clarified with the respective students over the course of the semester. For now, attendance at the group sessions is essential, as is a willingness to prepare and engage with the process.
