Nova Tribe Voices – Remember. Listen. Understand.

A Conversation with Survivors Tamir Leshetz and Yuval Siman Tov

Monday, 2 November 2026 | 18:00–20:00
Doors open at 17:15

What does it mean to ask someone, in the aftermath of 7 October 2023: What did you experience? And what does it mean to truly listen?

Tamir Leshetz and Yuval Siman Tov survived the Hamas terrorist attack on the Nova Music Festival on 7 October 2023.

At Nova Tribe Voices, they will share their personal experiences and reflect on how 7 October has shaped their lives. Following the moderated conversation, there will be an opportunity to ask questions and engage in dialogue with them.

At the heart of the evening is personal encounter: listening, asking questions and keeping the conversation going. We aim to create a space for remembrance and respectful dialogue, while also taking a stand against antisemitism, hatred and violence, and in support of an open and democratic society.

The event will be held in English and is organised by the UdK Berlin's Officer for Antisemitism Prevention, together with antisemitism officers and contact persons supporting those affected by antisemitism at other Berlin universities, as well as the Building Bridges programme.

OFEK e.V. will provide awareness support and psychosocial assistance throughout the evening.
