When students plan political events on UdK premises, for example, to mobilize against impending budget cuts, they must always follow the university administration’s registration and approval procedures. However, it is important to note that these rules apply regardless of how worthy the planned event’s cause may seem. In the past, approval by the university administration served more as a registration requirement than as a means of reviewing the content. The requirement to register political events is therefore intended to ensure the safety of all members of the university community.
