The current University Archive of the Berlin University of the Arts is one of the largest university archives of an art university and has been in existence since 1991. In addition to its mandate under the Berlin Archive Act, it is responsible for collecting, evaluating documents from the university administration, the faculties, and all institutions and predecessor institutions of the Berlin University of the Arts. In addition to numerous files and documents, the university archive also contains image templates, former teaching materials, various bequests and legacies, as well as drawings and graphics.
