  • The Elterntelefon (Parents’ Helpline) is a nationwide telephone service offering support, advice and information, providing you with quick, expert and anonymous assistance with any questions you may have about bringing up your children.

  • With seven nurseries, the StudierendenWERK Berlin offers childcare close to campus for student parents and university staff. The StudierendenWERK Berlin’s nurseries are for children from 0 years of age until they start school.

  • The nationwide helpline of the Deutsch-Dänisches Institut für Familientherapie und Beratung provides counselling over the phone or simply listens when things become “too much” for families or couples.

  • The specialist advice centre Pflege in Not offers advice to people in need of care, their relatives and care staff on issues relating to conflict and violence in the care sector. 

  • Initiative Schmetterling Neuss e.V. supports families with children who have life-shortening illnesses, are severely disabled or have passed away. The association’s family support and administrative tasks are carried out by full-time and voluntary staff, who receive professional support from freelance specialists.
