As a culmination of the thematic focus on the Constellations Type, a publication is currently in preparation and scheduled for release in the first half of 2026. It brings together work developed over two semesters of research and design. Starting from a documentation of the status quo, How Life Unfolds, substantiated through case studies, interviews, and essays, the publication presents the diversity of contemporary forms of living and dwelling. It examines their relationship to existing building typologies, illustrated and analyzed through concrete examples. Building on this foundation, the publication introduces the principle of constellation-based living, articulated through prototypical structural, organizational, spatial, and architectural design approaches. Its aim is to promote the efficient use of built space and the resources associated with the construction and use of housing, as well as the sufficient provision of housing in the city as a basis for social justice and ecological sustainability.
