INFORMATION ON APPLICATION

First and foremost, architecture is a question of the–yes–ethical position of the architect with respect to the social challenges of the times, a position that takes on aesthetic, material form in all architectonic spaces, cities and landscapes. The question of what social, cultural, architectonic, urban spaces we wish to live in – but above all, how we want to live in them, is discussed in diverse and undogmatic ways in the various departments of the study programme and examined in an exploratory manner through temporary forms in the students' designing, artistic and scientific work. We adopt a position and we find a form. Over and over again.

Departments of Architecture

The working approaches of the international teaching body are diverse, documenting the complexity of contemporary architectural production in research, teaching and practice – beyond styles, schools of thought and fashions.

Max Taut Prize

The Max Taut prize-winners of recent years convinced the jury with their outstanding contributions to building design, experimental investigations in technical engineering, and independent interior design achievements using innovative methods of representation.

General Study Information
