With the Professorium, the university welcomes its newly appointed professors at the start of the academic year.

This new format showcases the diversity of artistic teaching at UdK Berlin and creates space for encounters across faculties and disciplines. Following a welcome address by President Prof. Dr. Markus Hilgert, the following professors will introduce themselves:

Prof. Dirk Elsemann (Liturgical Organ Playing/Organ Improvisation)
Prof. Mayumi Hirasaki (Baroque Violin)
Prof. Melissa King (Dance/Choreographic Practice)
Prof. Marie-Pierre Langlamet (Harp)
Prof. Kirsten Reese (Composition/Studio for Electroacoustic Music)
Prof. Kathrin Röve (Acting and Performance)
Prof. Lea Søvsø (Costume Design)

Afterwards, all guests are warmly invited to a reception in the foyer, with an opportunity to meet and exchange ideas.

The event is intended for members of UdK Berlin and invited guests. It is not open to the public.
