source: Kaluza + Schmid

KlangKunstBühne is a continuing education program offered by the University of the Arts and is aimed at all artistic disciplines. In courses lasting one week each from August to October 2019, participants experience the possibilities of moving beyond the borders of their disciplines. Working with renowned international artists, new knowledge and abilities in previously unexplored areas are acquired and the possibilities of the participants’ own artistic expression are broadened. This year’s tutors will be the Berlin-based performance group She She Pop, the Spanish director Calixto Bieito, the Lebanese director, actor, author and performance artist Rabih Mroué, the American composer Christian Wolff together with the percussionist Robyn Schulkowsky as well as the German-English performance group Gob Squad. A shorter workshop is offered by the dancer and choreographer Josephine Ann Endicott together with her colleague Bénédicte Billiet. They will explore excerpts of choreographies from Pina Bausch with the course members. Students of UdK Berlin have the opportunity to apply for a scholarship until June 30th.
