Insa Ruckdeschel

Insa Ruckdeschel studied marketing with a focus on tourism and event management at Stenden University in Emmen, the Netherlands. She completed an internship at the DMY International Design Festival in Berlin for her final thesis. Here she gained professional experience in event management. From 2014 to 2017, she worked first as a volunteer and then as a project manager at the International Design Centre Berlin and was responsible for implementing the UX Design Awards, among other things. In parallel, she studied cultural management and cultural tourism (M.A.) part-time at the European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder) from 2015 to 2017. From November 2017, Ms. Ruckdeschel was a project manager in the staff unit Marketing and Central Events and has been the Marketing Manager of the new staff unit for Strategic Marketing at UdK Berlin since January 2022. She supports the Head of Strategic Marketing in planning, developing, designing and implementing strategic marketing measures. She prepares strategic marketing analyses, organises market and trend research projects and implements operational marketing goals and action plans in close coordination with the staff unit management. She also oversees the collaborations and campaigns, the UdK:shop (online/offline), and its Instagram channel.
