Visiting Professor Dr. Florian Hadler

Prof. Dr. Florian Hadler is Visiting Professor for Creative Entrepreneurship at the ZIW since October 2020, teaches in the Studium Generale and develops transfer strategies and formats at the intersection of design, science, business, politics and society, with a focus on the cultural and creative industries in Berlin and beyond.
His academic focus is on digital culture and the philosophy of the unknown. In 2014, he founded the interdisciplinary, international platform Interface Critique and has been editor in chief of the Open Access journal of the same name since 2018.
He studied media and communication in Berlin and Saas-Fee and has taught at numerous universities.
He has been developing and designing digital products, services and strategies for 15 years and has received prestigious international awards for his work (Webby, ADC, Lead Award). He is founder and managing director of the 25A0 Brand Strategy Shop, director of strategy at STATE Design and Strategy Consultancy and works as an expert for the European Commission's research agency.
