Dr. Hamed Soleimanzadeh

The image of “the path” as a philosophical sign in Kiarostami’s cinema

The image of “the path” in Kiarostami's cinema is one of the most important philosophical signs in his works. Kiarostami’s notion of the image of “the path” is to explore the truth. In his films, Kiarostami presents a kind of non-doctrinal philosophy by emphasizing the image of “the path”. The philosophy integrated with images and dialogues of the kiarostami’s cinema and other cineasts under his influence, make the audience find about self existence and truth.
