The lab:present team organizes besides a course for students also a series of seminars with lectures and discussions, where representatives of the Berlin University of the Arts and TU Berlin talk about the connection between art and science.
Jan Verwoert, curator, visiting professor and currently head of the Graduate School is guest at the opening event and speaks about the question »Wie verhalten sich Abstraktion und Materialität zueinander (in zeitgenössischer Kunst und Wissenschaft)?«.("How do abstraction and materiality relate to each other (in contemporary art and science)?"). The lecture is held in German, open to the public, admission free.
